What We Offer

DBT with Friends provides peer-led skills groups based on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Our services include group scheduling, educational resources, event listings, and community tools.

Not a Substitute for Professional Care

Our groups are peer-led and educational in nature. DBT with Friends is not a therapy provider, and nothing on this site constitutes medical or mental health advice. Our groups do not replace professional treatment. If you are in crisis, please contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988) or your local emergency services.

Accounts

Some features require signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You must provide accurate information and may not impersonate others.

Community Guidelines

When participating in our groups and community spaces, you agree to:

  • Treat all participants with respect and dignity
  • Maintain confidentiality — what is shared in group stays in group
  • Not provide clinical advice or present yourself as a therapist unless licensed
  • Follow the guidelines set by your group leader

We reserve the right to remove participants who violate these guidelines.

Intellectual Property

The content on this site — including text, graphics, and design — is owned by DBT with Friends or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

DBT skills and concepts referenced on this site originate from the work of Dr. Marsha Linehan and are used for educational purposes.

Limitation of Liability

DBT with Friends is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in our groups, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
